The Role

We're looking for a Junior Recruiter to join our team and own the candidate lifecycle from sourcing to send out. This is a fully commission, performance-driven role ideal for someone who's driven, coachable, and excited to build their own sustainable business with real earning upside. You'll fully immerse yourself in the split-fee network, sourcing strong candidates against jobs posted by other network members. You'll be trained, coached along the way, and given access to all of the sourcing tools we use inside and outside the network. You'll ultimately be paid a share of the placement fees you help generate, increasing your splits as you produce.

What You'll Do

• Select your focus — Choose roles to work based on your background and industry knowledge, aiming to run about 3 active jobs at a time.
• Partner with job recruiters — Reach out to the recruiters who own each job order, gather context on the role and process, and build the working relationship.
• Source candidates — Post and promote your jobs via our internal job board, LinkedIn, and Indeed. Screen resumes, analyze matching criteria, and build a strong pipeline.
• Screen & interview candidates — Run 30-minute screening calls covering soft skills, professional strengths and weaknesses, and resume verification. Lead in-depth interviews and give honest, constructive feedback.
• Submit candidates — Write candidate introductions and manage submissions through the appropriate ATS.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years professional experience
• Strong communication skills — comfortable on the phone and leading interviews
• Self-motivated and organized enough to manage multiple candidates and jobs simultaneously
• Coachable, confident, resilient, and comfortable with a commission pay structure
• No prior recruiting experience required — we train on process, tools, and technique

Compensation

This is a commission-only role structured as a share of JC Recruiting's net earnings on each placement you source. JC Recruiting typically nets ~47% of the placement fee.

• First Placement: 50/50 split
• Junior Recruiter: 70/30 split
• Senior Recruiter: 80/20 split
• Partner: 100% minus seat cost
